We celebrated the 25th anniversary of worship at Balloch on 1st April 2007 - and what a day it turned out to be!

The day, which was also Palm Sunday, started with an all-age worship service at the Forge at 11.00am, continued with lunch and then an afternoon of musical entertainment and reminiscences.

A former Moderator of the General Assembly, and currently the Principal Clerk to the General Assembly, Very Rev. Dr. Finlay Macdonald, was our special guest on the day and took part in our worship, which was led by Catriona, Valerie and Ivar.

Former ministers Bruce McNicol and Ailsa McLean shared their reminiscences of the early days of worship at Balloch. Tomas Bisek sent us his greetings by DVD from the Czech Republic. Various organisation leaders and representatives spoke warmly about the present life of the congregation and the afternoon was rounded off by Ivar and Catriona who spoke about "Balloch today".



Throughout the afternoon we had some excellent musical entertainment provided by members of the congregation while, in the small hall, there was a photo gallery showing the life of the congregation through the years.
