Cumbernauld Elders' Forum

The five Church of Scotland congregations in Cumbernauld are working together.
One of the ways they are doing this is through the Elders' Forum, a get-together of the elders from the five churches which is now entering its third year.

The first meeting for Session 2006 / 07 took the form of a fellowship meal for elders and partners at St. Mungo's Parish Church on Saturday 28th October. An enjoyable evening was rounded off by an after-dinner talk by Jamie Stuart, author of A Glasgow Bible.

On Monday 22nd January 2007 we wrestled with worship preparation in a very enjoyable exercise launched by the cry, "The Minister's got the 'flu and the Deacon's in Corfu; (the Reader is away too!) what shall we do?"

For our final get-together of the current session we meet in Kildrum Parish Church and welcome a speaker from Christian Aid.
