| Church Magazine: Ladies' Group (Autumn 2006) |
The Ladies Group starts its new session on Thursday 24th August at 7.30pm.
This is our opening meeting to discuss events planned for the coming year.
Our first speaker is Mr Robert Mackenzie who is giving a talk on Thursday 31st August about 'Kindertransport' when many children were transported to other countries just before the Second World War to save them from Nazi concentration camps.
After this date we meet every second Thursday at 7.30pm in the Session House.
We hope to have a varied programme of speakers, craft and hobby nights. quizzes, bingo and of course a Christmas night out and at least one visit to the theatre. Details will be posted to the website once the syllabus has been finalised.
Anyone who wishes to attend the Ladies Group will be made most welcome.
