| Church Magazine: Men's Group (Spring 2007) |
Our programme for the rest of the year has something for everyone, we think!
We'll be digging up our heritage (but not literally) with Jim Walker, hearing about the 'shooglies' from Rev. Charles Herriot, finding out what being a 'Bairn' means to Tom Myles and welcoming back Murdie Fletcher who kicked off the Men's Group all those years ago - well, 5 actually! - with his talk on Silversmithing.
With visits to the East Kilbride Museum (somehow those words don't go together) and going on a Mercat tour of Historic Glasgow, plus a visit to the Tall Ship, the programme is full and we'll need the rest at the end of session meal, we think!

If you fancy joining us, then please come along and you'll be made very welcome.
We meet in the Laird's Loft of the Village Church when we have visiting speakers; these meetings are at 7.30pm on Wednesdays. Details of departure times for the visits and the meal will be in the Church News on a Sunday and this website's What's On page.
You don't have to come to every meeting - just come along and join in any time, unless we're limited for numbers on visits when it's first come first served. Come on, take the plunge and we're sure you'll enjoy yourself - and bring a friend, too - you don't have to be a church member (just male!) to be in the Men's Group.
