Thank-you from Fuzile

During December we were delighted to welcome Fuzile Ntshona to Cumbernauld Old. Fuzile was one of three students from the University of Pretoria visiting central Scotland and was based at Laurieston linked with Redding & Westquarter church.

He was able to join us for worship on a couple of occasions as well as meet us socially.

On one evening Fuzile, along with his colleagues, met some of the Mission Circle and was able to tell us first-hand what life is like in South Africa and how much our Mission Circle money meant to them. He has now returned to South Africa to start his probation as a minister in the Uniting Presbyterian Church in Southern Africa.

Before he left, however, he passed on this message:
"This is to thank you for welcoming me during my stay in Scotland. I found the church of Cumbernauld Old so willing to do things and I really enjoyed my fellowship with you. The minister had some great ideas. May God continue to bless each one of you and may you have a happy New Year".
