Connect 07 is the name given to a series of events being run by the Cumbernauld churches during the first week of September 2007.

What started off as an initiative by the five Church of Scotland congregations has grown and now involves many different churches and denominations in the town.

During the previous week, from 27th - 31st August, the Scottish Bible Society's Bibleworld Studios will be in the ASDA car park. Eleven primary schools will be bringing their P7 classes – over 500 children in total – during the day and it is hoped to have the exhibition open 'after hours' for adults who wish to come along and look around.

Then during the week of 'Connect 07' itself a whole range of activities is planned by the various churches – these are still being arranged at the time of writing – and the week is being rounded off by a Family Fun Day on Saturday 8th September.

We will keep everyone informed about Connect 07 as plans take shape, but it's safe to say that we are already very excited about it. For more information, see the website at:
